This course is based on Preliminary Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (PHIRA) framework and will support employers to understand the hazards that are be present in their workplace, and the risk they pose. It is a worker right, as defined in the Workers Compensation Act, to be made aware of the hazards and risks in their workplace. (Part 2, Division 4, Section 21(2)b).
This course will train participants to complete a field level assessment and satisfies the requirements under law.
